Question: What is the best time of year to plant a new groundcover?

Answer: You can actually plant at any time, but the plants will establish most quickly and spread and fill in the shortest amount of time if you get them planted before their burst of new growth in the spring. Many of our most popular groundcovers, including Asian jasmine and English ivy do most of their growing before summer’s really hot weather.
