Question: My hyacinths didn’t bloom very well this spring. They were beautiful last year. What did I do wrong?

Answer: Probably nothing. Like tulips, hyacinths don’t “come back” very well year-after-year. The first year’s flowering will always be the best. You’re best advised to replant with new bulbs each fall.
