Question: When should I plant cauliflower? Will it do well here?

Answer: Cauliflower takes a longer time to mature than its other relatives, cabbage and broccoli. As such, it can be difficult in springs when it turns hot and dry unusually early. Plant it 4 to 6 weeks before the average date of the last killing freeze. Keep it growing actively. Fall plantings are often more productive. Plant it 3 to 4 months before the average date of the first killing freeze.
