Question: I have noticed a small brown corky spot on the bottoms of all my weeping fig’s leaves. It’s about the size of a pinhead, and I can’t peel it off with my fingernail. Is that caused by an insect, or what?

Answer: That’s a spot at which the leaf flexes. That corky dot is common to most weeping figs, and it doesn’t appear to be affiliated with any particular problem. Don’t worry about it.
