Question: Should I broadcast the seeds over the surface, or sow them in rows?

Answer: Again, it depends on how much of the crop you’re going to be growing. Row plantings certainly are safest, since diseases will be slow to jump from one row to the next. You can also dig and transplant one small part of a row, where it would be more damaging to disturb an entire grouping of seedlings growing en masse.
