Question: My corn ears aren’t filled out very well. What could I have done differently?

Answer: Corn is wind-pollinated, so it relies on having many plants producing pollen at the same time. If you ever plant corn in one long, straight row, you’re going to see this sort of uneven filling of the ears. You always need to plant corn in square blocks, to ensure good pollination.
