Question: What mowing height is best for my grass?

Answer: Common bermuda should be maintained at 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 inches. Hybrid bermudas will be shorter, depending on the variety. St. Augustine should be mowed at 2 to 2-1/2 inches. Fescue and buffalograss can be mowed at 3 inches. Zoysias will vary depending on the variety.
