Meet Harper, a 40-pound, 2-year-old Hound mix, who is the sweetest little lady this side of the Trinity River. When you first meet her, she can be a little shy and dainty, but take her outside to run around a bit, and oh boy! She becomes quite the goofball. She was rescued from inhumane conditions and was brought to the SPCA on July 23. Because of her past, she still is working on finding her confidence, and she would probably do best in a calm house with someone with the patience to show her how nice humans can be. She loves the canine friends she has made here at the SPCA, so if you have a doggie at home for her to be buddies with, she would be so happy. (Did you know that you can bring your fur-babies to the SPCA to meet her whenever you want?) She is heartworm positive, but her treatments are FREE to her new family at a Metroplex-area VCA Animal Hospital after she’s adopted. This provides the best total care for heartworm positive dogs like her in treatment, as they’ll have access to emergency care and overnight stays if necessary. She has been spayed, is microchipped, and has received all of her necessary vaccinations. Come by and meet Harper today!

Alex

Alex

Meet Alex, a 6-month-old, 5-pound Domestic Mediumhair mix. You will love her silky-soft fur and her big, fluffy tail! She has been spayed, is microchipped, and has been given all age-appropriate vaccinations. Come meet this sweet girl today! #134982

Angel

Angel

Meet Angel, a 2-year-old, 50-pound Pit Bull mix. She gets her name from being so sweet, gentle, quiet and full of love. She likes to chase butterflies, listen to the birds in the morning and sniff around exploring things. She was rescued from inhumane conditions by the SPCA of Texas on Sept. 23, and she feels like everything is new and beautiful again and she has so much to look forward to! She can’t wait to get a loving owner who will go on walks with her and teach her how to be the perfect pooch. She has been spayed, microchipped, and given all age-appropriate vaccinations, so she’s ready to go! Come meet Angel today. #135854

Waffles

Waffles

Meet Waffles, an 8-pound, 5-year-old darling, petite Domestic Shorthair mix Torbie gal. She’s very cute and sweet. Her owner surrendered her to the SPCA of Texas because there were too many animals in the home. At first, she needed to adjust to a new environment in a shelter, but now she loves petting and will reward you with a soft purr song! She has been spayed, tested for FIV/FeLV (she’s negative), is microchipped and has received age-appropriate vaccinations. She likes playing with the fuzzy wand and hangs on tightly when she catches it! She’s dreaming of a home where there is lots of love, affection and yummy food! Could that be yours? Come by today and meet Waffles. #135570
