Meet Delilah, a 1-year-old, 53-pound Hound mix. She came to the SPCA of Texas on July 23, when she was seized from inhumane conditions. It’s been a long journey, but now she is so happy and healthy and ready for a furrever home! You’d never know she came from cruelty, because she is the sweetest girl around. All she likes to do is hug you and kiss you continuously. She’s the gentlest lady around. She walks calmly on the leash, and she’ll stay right by your side. She’s more interested in being cuddled than she is in toys, but she’s smiling no matter what you do! She’s one sweet girl, and she’d be perfect for any family. All she asks is that you love her forever and give her the chance to know what a warm and loving home is. She promises with her whole heart to love you forever! She can see you doing everything together, from taking walks around the park or driving around town to snuggling up for a movie. She has been spayed, microchipped and given all age-appropriate vaccinations. What do you say? How about letting Delilah become a part of your story and you a part of hers? #134229

Sam

Sam

Meet Sam, a 10-year-old, 8-pound black and white Domestic Shorthair mix. She came from a pretty rough situation, but the wonderful Rescue and Investigations team here at the SPCA of Texas brought her here on July 30 to make sure that she got the care that she needed. Now look at her! She’s still quite shy, but she’s a sweet lady once she’s out and about. She just needs to gain some confidence. Sam is actually okay with other cats, too. She’ll need some time to adjust to her new home, so please be patient with her as she gets used to things. She has been spayed, microchipped and given all age-appropriate vaccinations. Hurry and come see Sam…. She can’t wait to go home! #129256

McKinney Pets

Martha-Rose

Martha-Rose

Meet Martha Rose, a 4-year-old, 43-pound Hound mix who came to the SPCA of Texas on Aug. 7. Now, don’t judge her, but she came here because she didn’t like the cat in her home. She says, “I just don’t get cats! Why can’t they be fun and playful like me?” If you’re not into cats either, here’s why Martha Rose is the gal for you! She is a total lover. She will shower you in kisses and love all day! She is kind with everyone, and she even likes kids. They’re so fun to play with! In her free time, she enjoys running around the backyard and going for car rides. She’s a simple kind of gal. She’s always ready to play — you pick the game, and she’s in! You should know that she doesn’t like thunderstorms; she’d be grateful if you could snuggle her really close when the rain starts coming down. You can watch a movie together to get through it! She has been spayed, microchipped and given all age-appropriate vaccinations. Come see her today! #134616

Sella

Sella

Meet Sella, a lovely, sweet 11-year-old lady. She is a shapely 9-pound Domestic Shorthair mix. She wears a soft, brown tabby fur coat. Her face has pretty and distinctive tabby stripes. Before she arrived, she was declawed on her front paws, so for her safety she needs to be an indoor cat. Her owners surrendered her to the SPCA of Texas on July 28 because they are moving and cannot keep her. She will miss them very much. She’s looking to enjoy her senior years in a loving home that needs a wonderful companion cat. Could that be you? Sella has been spayed, tested for FIV/FeLV (she’s negative), is microchipped and has received age-appropriate vaccinations. If you have room in your home and heart, please consider Sella for your new best friend! Stop by today! #134471
