Meet Zaphara, a lovely 11-month-old, 39-pound Pit Bull mix with an absolutely gorgeous white and brown coat. Isn’t she stunning? Zaphara is a social gal who always has a hug and a great big kiss ready for each and every person she meets. As an active gal who enjoys plenty of playtime outdoors, Zaphara loves stretching her legs any chance she gets! Fancy a race? In addition to being quite the ball of energy, Zaphara is also quite cuddly and will never say “no” to back scratches or belly rubs. Zaphara was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on Jan. 30 as part of an unwanted litter. As a growing pup, she is eager to learn and please. In fact, she can already sit on command and has just about mastered loose-leash walking. With your guidance and loving hand, Zaphara is sure to grow into quite a dog! Speaking of growing up, she would prefer to be in a home with older children. She just loves getting all of the attention — who wouldn’t? What are you waiting for? Find that adoption specialist and make her yours today! # 132369

Ollie

Ollie

Meet Ollie, a 4-year-old Domestic Shorthair with a handsome brown tabby coat. Ollie is a sweet and loving boy who loves a good scratch behind the ears. He was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on March 6 because his owners had to move away and could not take Ollie with them. Some of Ollie’s favorite activities are sunbathing, sleeping and cuddling with his family. Though he’s shy at first, Ollie warms up quickly. Come and meet this adorable boy today! #138907

McKinney Pets

Fred

Fred

Meet Fred, a 44-pound Labrador mix with a gorgeous black coat, beautiful eyes and the most adorable face you’ve ever seen. He’s a little less than 2 years old and came to the SPCA of Texas on Jan. 23 because the other dog in his home was not fond of him. He is very kind and gentle, and he really enjoys receiving attention! Because he’s a young pooch, he is energetic and like to play. If you enjoy going for walks, you will be perfect for each other because he enjoys walks, too. While in the shelter, the staff and volunteers have been continuing his loose-leash training. He’s really hoping to find his forever family so that he has someone to snuggle and love. His previous owner noted that he is housebroken, but since being in the shelter, he might need a little refresher. He is also working on his crate training. If you keep a few treats in your pocket, he’s sure to get this crate-training thing down quickly! He has been neutered, microchipped and has received all age-appropriate vaccinations. #138250

Marble

Marble

Meet Marble, a 7-year-old female calico cat with a unique fur coat. She is mostly tabby orange with a light orange mask around her eyes. The rest of her face is white, and her little pink nose has tiny black spots. She’s so cute! A few vertical black splotches on her side complete her fashion statement! She is a Domestic Shorthair mix and weighs 8 pounds. She is a quiet lady with a sweet and mellow personality. She has been spayed, tested for FIV/FeLV (she’s negative), is microchipped, and has received dental treatment and age-appropriate vaccinations. You can even set her adoption fee! She’s been rolling along waiting to move to her new home and family, where she can give lots of kisses and show off her loving personality and unique fur markings. #138611
