Question: As I harvest my ears of corn I’m finding a small worm that is eating away at the ends of the ears. What is it, and how do I eliminate it?

Answer: That’s the corn ear worm, and it ruins great looking ears faster than anything else possibly could. You can use one drop of mineral oil on the flower silks as they form. That will keep the larvae from getting into the ears in the first place.
