Question: Can I plant my Easter lily outdoors now that it has finished blooming?

Answer: Yes, and it will probably flower for a year or two. They don’t seem to be able to establish and thrive in our hot Texas conditions. Nonetheless, nobody wants to throw them away, so give it a whirl. Grow it where it will get morning sun and afternoon shade. It will probably bloom several weeks after Easter outdoors.
