Question: My euonymus plants have a dusting of powder on their leaves. How threatening is that? What is it?

Answer: It’s not life-threatening, especially compared to the euonymus scale insects. It’s powdery mildew, and garden fungicides will control it. Plant euonymus in well-ventilated areas to lessen its severity.
