Question: How can I get my Aloe vera to bloom? I have seen photos of them in flower, and they’re really pretty.
Answer: Look at those photos again, and you’ll notice that those are big, single plants that are flowering. If you let your plant send out all the side shoots it will try to produce, the mother plant will probably never flower. Pinch off those side shoots, and you’ll also end up with a very spectacular foliage plant with large, very succulent leaves. As it matures, it will also bloom.
