Question: How good are the fertilizer spikes?

Answer: Spikes have the same problem that the old way of punching holes in the ground and inserting fertilizer had: they aren’t uniform. They certainly do deliver the fertilizer, and they’re easy enough to install. However, they concentrate all of their food in one little area. Surface feedings followed by heavy waterings are probably better in the long run.
