Question: How large should my greenhouse be?

Answer: As large as your budget and space allow. There has never been a home hobby greenhouse that was large enough. By the time all the neighbor’s big plants move in for the winter, the greenhouse will be full to the rafters. Smaller greenhouses heat up much more quickly on sunny days, and that’s a problem in cold weather when you dare not leave vents or doors open. If you can get a 10-by-20 foot (or larger) greenhouse, that would probably be ideal.
