Question: How often should I be feeding my houseplants?
Answer: Sparingly, unless conditions are satisfactory for normal and vigorous growth. Usually it’s too dark for that kind of growth indoors, so folks are better advised to buy plants that are already grown, then maintain them status quo. If you fertilize houseplants in normal indoor conditions every five or six times that you water them, that should be adequate. Even with that infrequent feeding schedule, you’ll want to use a very diluted solution.
