Question: How often should I mist my plants?
Answer: That’s probably wasted effort. With today’s homes having forced air heating and cooling, most of the moisture you might add to the plants’ immediate environment will quickly be dispersed throughout the house. Better ways to prevent problems of low humidity: group the plants together, so they can add to one another’s moist air, and don’t put them anywhere near heating and cooling registers, the fireplace, hot windows or drafty doorways.
