Question: I have used sedums as groundcovers in the fronts of my beds, but they keep thinning out. Is there something I should be doing differently?

Answer: Probably not. That’s the way many sedums grow over the years. Of course, you always want to give sedums full sun and excellent drainage. Beyond that, you may just need to plant fresh transplants back into the bare areas. You can probably transplant small plants from within the existing bed and use them to fill in the voids.
