Question: I understand we can paint unglazed clay pots. How do we do it?
Answer: You can match interior colors in a home or office by using flat latex wall paint in the appropriate shades. Work only with dry new pots, preferably white. Seal the insides of the pots with roofing sealant or pruning paint. Let it dry for a day or two. You can use masking tape to mark off the areas that will be painted. Brush the paint in place, and let it dry for several days before you fill the pots with potting soil. It should hold for many years.
