Question: My morning glory vines are beautiful, but they’re not blooming. Lots of foliage. No flowers. Why?

Answer: Morning glories need full sun and comparatively “poor” garden soils to bloom their best. If they get very much nitrogen from lawn fertilizers you can expect them to grow strongly, but at the expense of flowers. Morning glories also bloom best in late summer and fall.
