Question: My moss rose plants are playing out. I planted them 8 or 10 weeks ago, and expected a longer bloom season. Is that abnormal?

Answer: No. Of all our flowering annuals, portulaca’s productive time in the garden is one of the shortest, usually about 10 to 12 weeks. At that point you just need to replace them.
