Question: My beans have been producing for about one month, but they don’t appear to be setting any more beans. Is that normal?

Answer: That is very normal. You usually will get 4 or 5 pickings off any planting of beans. If you fail to harvest them punctually and let them get over-mature on the plants, you’ll reduce the yield from that point on. It’s really important that you have someone pick the beans for you if you’re going to be away for a few days as they reach harvest size.
