Question: My jade plant is dropping most of its leaves. They are shriveling up and falling all over the counter top. What causes that? It almost looks like I haven’t been watering it enough.

Answer: It isn’t getting enough light. The problem will begin a couple of weeks after you move it to a darker location, and it will proceed until the plant dies. Moving it to a really bright location is the only cure.
