Question: I planted sweet alyssum when I found them in the nursery. Now that it’s summer, the plants are still growing. Should I leave them in until the fall?

Answer: No. Remove them and replant in the fall or next spring. Alyssum isn’t equipped for the summer in the South. Treat them as cool-season annual flowers only.
