Question: Several of my heads are down in foliage now, both in the shrub beds and in the lawn as well. Is there something I can use to elevate the heads without having to do major work on the system?
Answer: Indeed. There are elongated extensions for the risers in the shrub beds, or you can easily unscrew the entire riser and install one that is 6 or 12 inches taller. As for the ground heads in your lawn, there are special extenders that can be cut to length. They’re approximately 6 inches long when you buy them, but you trim them with your hacksaw to exactly the length you need to elevate the various heads. These are all easy do-it-yourself projects.
