Question: Several of my sprinkler heads don’t seem to be spraying straight. How do I get them back into better working order?
Answer: It’s not at all difficult. Most will have some type of plastic strainer to catch debris that creeps into the system. Take the head apart and remove the strainer. If it’s full of chaff and other debris, clean it thoroughly, then put it back into the head. Most heads have small arrows embossed onto their tops to indicate the direction of the spray pattern. Make sure they’re properly aligned.
