Question: Since I’m growing my caladiums for their leaves, do I use my lawn food on them?

Answer: Probably not. You’ll find that caladiums that get that much nitrogen often lose their bright foliar colors. You can even end up with plants that are essentially green. It’s better to use a small amount of a complete-and-balanced analysis fertilizer.
