Question: Small parts of my Christmas cactus plant’s leaves are falling off. Can I use them to start new plants?
Answer: Those are actually stem tissues, not leaves, and, yes, you can certainly start new plants from them. Use them as cuttings, and stick them into pots filled with a very loose soil mix. Keep them slightly moist as they form roots and start growing. You’ll be amazed at how well they will root and grow.
