Question: My St. Augustine pulls loose easily, runners and all, yet I can’t find even one grub worm. It’s definitely dying, however. Is that some disease?

Answer: Yes, and it’s one that only in recent years has been diagnosed. It’s called “Take All Root Rot,” and it works exactly like grub worms, just without the grubs. Control it with a fungicide treatment. Repeat as needed.
