Question: What temperature range should I try to maintain for my greenhouse?
Answer: It depends on the plants you’re trying to grow. To keep really tropical plants such as hibiscus, bougainvilleas, aglaonemas and others, you’ll need 65 to 70 degrees minimum. Many other plants will prosper even at 50 to 55 degrees, and, if you’re just trying to keep plants from freezing, 40 to 45 degrees may be adequate for short periods of time. Try to keep the daytime temperatures in the summer in the low 90s.
