Question: When can I plant my new turf?

Answer: Warm-season grasses (bermuda, St. Augustine, zoysia, buffalograss) are all planted from mid-spring (April and May) through very early fall (early Septemer). Cool-season grasses (fescue, rye) are planted in early to mid-September. Planting outside of these windows of time increases chance of failure.
