Question: Which of the various honeysuckles makes the prettiest vine?

Answer: Beauty is in the eyes of the gardener, but most would agree that coral honeysuckle is the best landscaping vine. It’s more refined than the others, plus its coral-red flowers are more appealing. But, coral honeysuckle is susceptible to powdery mildew, and that can be a problem. Hall’s honeysuckle is a better vine than purple Japanese honeysuckle, which is best suited as a tall groundcover.
