Neil Sperry began doing Metroplex radio while still employed by the Texas Agricultural Extension Service 1970-1977. From January 1978 until April 1980, he broadcast Neil Sperry’s Green Scene over WFAA radio in Dallas/Fort Worth. From May 1980 until July 2010, he broadcast Neil Sperry’s Texas Gardening over KRLD in Dallas/Fort Worth. From July 2010 until the present, he has broadcast Neil Sperry’s Texas Gardening over the powerful WBAP AM/FM in Fort Worth/Dallas.
