What kind of fertilizer is best for roses? When should it be applied?
My climbing roses don’t bloom well. In fact, I haven’t seen any flowers at all for the first two years that I’ve had the several plants. What might be going wrong? They seem to be growing fairly well.
How much do I cut off my roses, and how do I know where to make the cuts?
I have many types of bulbs. They were planted on time in the fall, but, even though spring is many weeks away, they’re already starting to sprout. Do I need to worry about losing the plants before they can flower next spring?
My chrysanthemums bloom in the spring. I thought they were fall flowers only.
My aspidistra plants are browned around the edges of their leaves. Also they aren’t growing very rapidly. What could I be doing to help them along?
I like carnations, but most of the types I have tried seemed to “melt away” with the heat. Is that normal?
When should I dig and divide my cannas, in the fall or early spring?
