I’d like to use perennial salvias in my landscape. Which types work best, and how tall and wide will they grow?
What can I use to get rid of bamboo? Our neighbors planted it along a bank several years ago and now it’s invading our landscape.
I have a rose that I’d like to give to friends. How do I root the cuttings?
I planted a Hybrid Tea rose, but now I have a plant that looks like a blackberry bush. Its flowers are also very much like a blackberry. Why would a rose mutate like that?
What are those dark brown spots all over my rose leaves? The leaves turn yellow and fall off, and the plants don’t seem to be very vigorous either.
My roses this summer have looked terrible. The flowers were great in the spring, but they have fewer petals and terrible form now that it’s hot. Some of the pink and yellow roses aren’t even the same color that they were in the spring.
Why do my rose flowers fail to open properly? They’re brown and scorched looking, even as flower buds.
My plants’ leaves have almost perfect circles cut into their edges. What kind of insect does that? I can’t find any insects on the plants, yet the damage keeps getting worse.
