How important is it that I prune limbs within the center of my live oak?

What is a good tree for a wet part of our landscape.
We have discovered that our new tree has sunk in its planting hole. It’s now about 4 inches lower than the surrounding soil. Must we replant it?
We have a cavity in our tree’s trunk. Should we fill it? What should we use? This really is an answer better left to a certified arborist on-site. Some people clean out cavities, then trowel mortar smoothly across exposed surfaces, but many arborists prefer to let the tree heal naturally. Since every situation is unique, it’s probably best just to call in a pro.
