What are the pouch-like things that are growing up in my caladiums and elephant ears? Are they some type of flower? What should I do with them?
Which side of the caladium tuber goes up? A nurseryman told me they plant theirs upside-down.
What size of caladium “bulbs” should I buy? The larger ones cost a good bit more.
When can I plant my caladiums? The nurseries start getting them in in February, but I’m told that’s way too early.
Can I take my begonias up and over-winter them in the house?
Will my begonias come back next year, and, if so, how can I help them survive the winter?
My begonias look like they have been boiled. The edges of their leaves are browned, and the flowers are as well. They looked so good all spring, but the summer hasn’t been kind to them. What more can I do to save them?
My young begonia plants are toppling over. Their stems seem to have been eaten, but I can’t find any insects. What does that?
