We fertilized our lawn last week, and now we’ve had a really heavy rain. Do we need to feed again?
My St. Augustine has yellow spots that are almost circular. It’s happened in the same areas in previous autumns. The grass does seem to come back, but I lost one of the spots in a cold spell a couple of years ago.
What is the little flat milkweed-like plant that’s in my lawn and flower beds? How can I deal with it?
I hear more about buffalograss, and I’d like to consider it. What is its record in Texas?
I want an automatic sprinkling system. What things should I look for to be sure I’m getting my money’s worth?
What do you think about the “weed-and-feed” fertilizers?
My fescue is dying, clear down to the soil. It’s in 2- and 3-foot round patches, and it doesn’t look like there will be anything left to come back. It looked fine coming out of the winter a couple of months ago, but I don’t think there will be anything left by the time it gets really hot this summer.
What is the low spreading weed with the kidney-shaped leaves? It’s really quite pretty, but it’s taking over my lawn.
